Online wellness support
While face to face therapy is typically the ideal form of therapy, there is absolutely a place for online support as well.
In this modern fast paced and hectic world, there is a growing need for online support. There are those who do not live in close proximity to a healing practioner, others may feel uncertain and ill at ease visiting with a therapist, and still others who are searching for help yet unable to leave their homes due to illness or disability.
My belief is that the healing relationship between practioner and client is enormously beneficial and a means to deep and often transformational healing. I treasure the time I spend with clients and know that my life is blessed by our interactions and relationship. I learn and grow from every client who comes into my life. While an online healing relationship is somewhat different, I have found that there can be a profound sense of care and sharing through the written word.
With this in mind, I have expanded my private practice to include online wellness support and healing. Please note that this is not considered traditional therapy but is a means to support, encourage, share, and guide, with the deepest care and concern for a client's well being.
I have completed the American Counseling Association online counseling training program and abide by it strict ethics guidelines. My computer is used exclusively by me and is password protected. All files are unavailable to anyone but me, and I utilize a security chat which insures every conversation is held in the utmost confidence.
How online support works...
It is all very simple! Basically, we exchange emails. You decide how many "sessions" you want. No long term commitment or requirements.
Step one: You write to me and let me know of your concerns, issues, and struggles; basically give me a brief overview of your situation.
For NO COST, I will read the email and first, make sure you are not in need of crisis intervention, emergency care, or other more serious intervention, then provide you with an idea of how I think I can help and support you.
Step two: If you decide to proceed, you pay for however many sessions you wish to receive and we begin our correspondence. You can either sign up for multiple sessions or take it one session at a time.
I make every effort to respond in depth in a way that will help you explore options and open your mind and heart to discover answers. I take my role as a wellness practitioner very seriously and always give my full attention and care to each individual client whether in person or online.
Under normal circumstances I respond within two business days.
How to get online support help?
Pretty simple!
1. Read through this website to get a feel for my philosophy and my practice and decide if you would like to engage in a healing relationship and if you feel I can provide you with the help you desire
2. Contact me and let me know if you are interested in wellness support
3. Sign the disclaimer form (in the documents link, and send it back)
4. Chose how many online sessions you want and make payments on the payment link.
